New Headbands

I’ve added some adorable headbands to my Etsy shop

This is a diamond headband. Its very soft and stretchy and can cover your ears if you need it to.

This is a zigzag headband with a wildflower. That was the first time I made that flower and it turned out great! This headband can’t keep your ears warm but it can keep your hair out of your way while accenting your face.

I made this with moms of little girls in mind. It is a princess crown that can be machine washed and dried. It is also wide enough to keep your ears warm.

Mostly little girls are into princess crowns but I know a few teens and adult women who would love this headband too. It comes in a variety of colors if you don’t want a pink one.

New Arm and Leg Warmers

I’ve added some fingerless gloves to my Etsy shop.

These gloves are great for typing, crafting, texting, driving, eating, writing, and doing most things while keeping your hands warm. They are great for winter.

These are so cute! They were the first I made with the diamond pattern and they turned out great. Also very useful for winter and go with most outfits.

Lastly, I added some fashionable leg warmers.

I spent a day in Chicago a month ago and nearly ever woman I saw was wearing these with high heels or boots. They are so attractive and easy to make. A great way to wear your favorite shoes and have warm ankles. These are definitely a must for any fashion forward lady.

New Owl Hats for adults and babies

The baby hat turned out so cute! I love the baby’s expression in the picture too. The other owl hats turned out really nice too. I love the pupils of the eyes.

Monsters for January 20

The next 2 monsters are some of my favorites.

This monster comes from the Etsy shop HagerdesignAtHome. I love this monster because it looks like its hiding behind the pocket. Its so cute! Its also a great gift for a little girl learning how to use a purse.

The creator also uses the word goofy in the title. I think that word describes it well.

Here’s my monster

This is my favorite monster hat so far but I’ll be making lots more. It was tons of fun to create the face, especially the two eyes. This hat is available in adult, child, and baby sizes.

Monster for January 19

This monster is from the Etsy shop Lilliannamarie. This is another great idea for kids. I fabric puzzle is much safer for babies to play with and harder for rough children to rip. There are tons of other fabric puzzle and toys from this shop. Check it out.

Monsters for January 17

I got way behind because I had to work extra hours at my job for the last few days. But I’m back and I have a lot of great news for the end of January.

Featured in the RAW art show

My knitted hats will be featured in the RAW artists show in Salt Lake City on Feb. 19th from 7pm to 12am.

I am so excited to do my first RAW art show!

RAW is a huge art show that takes place in over 60 different locations worldwide. It features artists in illustration, fashion, music, film, photography, performing arts, make-up, and hair. RAW features a lot of new artists like me that are trying to get established in the art world. It is a huge boost to new artists because it allows them to sell and get exposure. It seems hard to get in the RAW show so I was really surprised when I got in. I am so excited! I can’t wait until the show!

Turquoise solid color woven hat

This is the only hat I’ve made that is all one color. I saw that turquoise at the store and it was so pretty I knew right away that I wanted to do an entire hat in that color.

I love how it turned out. It looks like a crafted turtle shell.

Gentle Pink and Gray

This hat has some of the clearest pictures. I love how it turned out. What’s unique about this hat is that the buyer has the option of adding their own ribbon to it. That’s actually the result of an accident. I left holes in the hat for a ribbon but I forgot to put the ribbon in before I took pictures. The pictures turned out so nice I didn’t want to take them again so I gave customers the option of adding their own ribbon to the hat. Its amazing how much creativity can result from an accident.

Yes the hat is being modeled by a blue balloon. Human models are hard to come by because they need to be paid somehow and they work on a schedule. I wasn’t sure if the balloon would work as a model but it turned out really nice. You can still tell the size and shape of the hat from the way it covers the balloon.
